I am seeking to serve you as a neighbor, as a friend, and as a leader.

I was born and raised in the 95th District of our great state.

I believe that I have a unique viewpoint that will prove to be very useful in serving as your legislator.

I know the area’s past. I share the same core neighborly values. I have seen the explosive growth that WE have undergone in the past decade.

I believe that that viewpoint and my past experiences working IN the district in public safety and youth mentoring uniquely position me to identify your needs and bring the right kinds of solutions and results to our District.

That’s why I wish to serve you…to bring the RIGHT SOLUTIONS for POSITIVE RESULTS!!!

I have spent the past 16 years working with both youth and adults in the public safety arena as

  • a police officer,
  • a D.A.R.E. officer
  • an investigator for the Public Defender’s office in Newton County.

I have also spent countless hours volunteering as a youth mentor and counselor. These experiences in dealing with crime and some of the more troubling aspects of our district have shown me that we need to take a proactive approach to finding the right solutions that will place our youth and our community on the right path.

My platform and my passion is to provide the missing link our community needs by creating jobs and educational resources, while giving the full accountability that you and your families need and deserve! At the core of my plans is improving the quality of education for the children and youth of our great state. An improved economy with lower unemployment rates, more jobs and less crime all start with the excellence of our education system.

So, please keep an eye out on your email inbox or Facebook page for upcoming video episodes of “Getting to Know Andre”. I will speak with you about my plans for how we can improve education, increase jobs, improve crime prevention, and address our growing transportation needs.

Thank You,

Andrea Cooper
